I'm being pedantic but whisper, shout, laugh and smile are verbs. I think the ing forms are gerunds. Also agree with Puddles, verbs is too broad as a category.

Present participles maybe - Gerunds possibly - verbs they are not.
Something seems amis as it doesn’t accept dirty dancing as an answer when that’s the answer it gives - not sure why that would happen.
