I found all four groups, but matched zero of the connections 😅 They seemed very ambiguous to me, for the same reason David outlined

It is easy to figure out "These are all synonyms of log," "These are all actor/directors" and click the groups since they are unambiguous. But it's hard to come up with the exact grouping you thought they fit into.

Fun grid though!

Used "fictional animals", but apparently missed the exact phrase you were hoping for.
