I struggled with the paws/pours homonym as I pronounce those vowels pretty differently in my accent. Fun one though!

The 'paws' doesn't work in most accents, and 'clawed animal feet' is dubious. Good fun grid otherwise though. Change hat category and it will be excellent

With regards to paws, as Neil said, that's the abridged dictionary defintion (sans pads). Accent-wise, it works for the majority of the spread of the UK, hence its inclusion.
