Need to tidy up what it accepts

They are not homophonic - (which means the sound the same) - they just rhyme - which it didn’t accept in either cases

The progression one didn’t accept a progressive list of the words

I know it says award yourself the points - but it’s frustrating to get all four connections and have three perfectly decent answers rejected….

Otherwise was a pretty decent grid ! (And I don’t usually like cryptic clues. - so you’ve done a good job there!)

Great grid. Agree with below. ALI answers rhyme so that should be an acceptable connection, your answer doesn't really match.

But I'm proud I worked of most of the cryptic answers
