Had never heard of the porkpie hat or merengue dance so failed to find the connections but could name them once laid out. I find joining salsa (a dip/topping), hollandaise (a sauce), chili (a meal), and mint (an herb) together as anything other than "edible" a bit of a stretch.

Nice and simple. Unlike another I am familiar with a pork pie hat. I associate it with Reggae and Ska musicians. The two tone music of the late 70s early 80s. Mushroom hat was the new one for me.

Want familiar with merengue either, but knew the sauces. Salsa is kind of a sauce and the others are so saucer they are known as Mint sauce, chilli sauce and hollondaise sauce.
