i really try to not post mean comments on the internet, but "random words" is such a terribly stupid group that i'm going to castigate you for it. if you can't be assed to think of a fourth group, maybe just wait until you're inspired before posting a grid? there's not a deadline to meet or a quota to fill. you can do better, i'm sure of it.

I aced this and cannot figure out how

It's not random words and you know it. It's how many letters to remove to get a curse word. But the groupings (especially with the numbers) are so obvious it's painful. Like, you were trying to do an inappropriate connections round but force it into a wall shape. But even then, the connections are way too easy.

I don't think the math works on firetruck. Don't you have to remove 5 letters?
