A better clue for Cove, Dock, etc would be something like "places where land meets sea". All those places exist without boats

Got them all but 'places for boats' is not ok lol, synonyms for inlet or something would be better

Cove and Bay, which are natural formations, are not really the same category as Wharf and Dock, which are structures. You could change either pair to the opposite pair's category since none are red herrings.
