Annoyed with the group 'Koln,Leverkusen'etc I put 'german teams' and it was incorrect. When I looked at the answer it just said 'Germany'. So it was hard to get from the others being _____ teams. :(

Looking at Think!!!'s comment maybe the answer is to read the advice on the site and put in word stems such as germ when you set your next grid. This was OK by the way not too obscure though it was on a specialised subject.

spanish teams not accepted..ok I should have used capitals. German teams not accepted. Actually none of my kinda correct answers were accepted.

Either this is rubbish or there is something wrong. I put all the correct answers which the system agreed were correct to the word and all my results were "incorrect". Explain please.........................

Just guessing but the setter may have forgotten to use word stems and commas in the part of the grid hidden from the solver. If the setter doesn't understand the system or just gets a bit careless either no answer may be accepted or any or even a blank answer is treated as correct. Just give yourself the points you deserve!

I put in Holland, Germany, Italy and Spain and all were accepted!

What a boring grid! Didn't accept 'football teams' along with nationality, but these are specifically football teams rather than hockey, basketball etc.

Impossible if you don't follow football. All answers relied on just one branch of knowledge.

I tried the league names followed by "teams" (Eredivise, Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A) and that also didn't work... nevermind
