a good grid

I did pretty badly, but it was a very clever grid, I enjoyed it.

This was hard! I missed a few but everything passed the "I should have known this" test. Pissed I didn't get the phonetic alphabet one. Well done!

2 points.... Juliet only has 1 T, and I think Suffragette City is the obscure one that needs an explanation. Had to look that one up. Good grid though, 10/10

Agree with Cajun about Suffragette. Did rather poorly on this one.

Cajun: Juliett in the phonetic alphabet has long been spelled with two Ts, and more recently with only one. I wanted to retain the second T to give a slight leg up in figuring out that group. Will add more explanation though. Thanks for feedback

“Crystal” and “Dodge” could swap categories and still be valid, so that's a bit irksome. Otherwise a good grid.
