This shows good imagination but it was far too hard for me. Anagrams are always problematic so avoid anagrams of foreign words however well known. At least it was more accessible than anagrams of German cities with a letter missing which a previous setter thought was doable in three minutes. Please try again but make it easier.

Agranams of French integers caused me a bit of grief... Well actually It stopped me in my tracks. Yes I must admit the old Amagrans of French integers frazzled moi.

The anagrams clue doesn't work, I'm afraid:

"seize" (English, to grab/ take hold) has the ei in that order, not ie, as you spelled it! So that means it's not an anagram of "seize" (French, number 16), but the exact same word!

Sorry to be a pedant, as I enjoyed it otherwise.

Thanks for the feedback, especially autumnal who makes a good point. Is there any way to edit this or delete it & put a corrected version in? I'd like to correct the anagram and make the difficulty fiendish.

ProbBansky. You can't amend the grid but don't worry about the difficulty level. You only set the initial level, after that it changes to take into account how difficult the other players find it.

Just a headsup: Krohs is NOT pronounced how you think it is pronounced. I'm a native speaker and was on the right track, but there was nobody I could think of pronounced "crews". It's KrOHs, not KrEWs/KrOOs.
