Good grid but why where some items shown with capitals and others with lower-case? Seemed a bit random

Eh this was fine but I thought with the first two groups you were probably pulling at strings here since there is no one standout answer from each group that would get me to specifically think about the answer (unlike your third group with "criss" since that immediately got me thinking about crosses)
