This doesn't work as there are many different combinations all of which would give a valid grouping. There is supposed to be only one way to split the 16 items into 4 groups.
Wittering, Indies, End and Midlands are completely interchangeable as they can be preceded by either East or West. So there are 6 different ways of forming the east/west groups, all of which would be correct (but only one of which is accepted, of course).
Likewise Dakota, Facing and Pole are interchangeable for the North/South groups (and arguably some others too).
