RE: HappyJambo - also tried invidious, execrable, odious, unpleasant... solved the grid five times before giving up and revealing answer "bad". Is this the puzzgrid programming or do setters have options to include a number of "tags" that could be considered correct (and has neglected to furnish us with enough variations for the answer)?

Nice grid but I put the 'bad' group answer as synonyms only for it to come up as the wrong answer. Like I say though, a good grid. =)
