too obscure (esp. NBA teams)

NBA teams are not obscure if you are an American... I marked it as an american puzzle (isn't that the point of the country of origin and searching by that).

That is why I like this site vs. playing the ones on the Official website... half the connections are something only a Brit would know (Brit TV, non-worldly known Brit landmarks, etc).

I'm British and I knew all the NBA teams and even their respective states/cities. Not obscure at all. Good grid!

i thought the music one was slightly inconsistent—country is a genre, but a cantata is a musical form. you can talk about "a cantata" but not "cantata music" or "cantata" in general; with country, it's the opposite.

Agree about the music link - cantata doesn't really fit with the others (Jazz would!)

Movies with Anthony Hopkins is an awfully obscure fact. Movie titles would be "promptable" by the MC.
