Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do - this is called solfege, it's used to learn music but they aren't the names of the notes.

Too many mistakes unfortunately - Ray, So are not on the solfege scale. Why is not how Y is pronounced. I didn't know pen is a female swan - learnt something new! Thanks anyway

I liked it. Clever categories. My only complaint would be that in the do-re-mi category everything is spelled the 'normal' way except ray, which makes the group incoherent. But I liked the red herrings of female animals & pronouns

Two of the connections are wrong. La is a note, but Me and Ray are homophones for notes (Mi, Re). It should be either all notes, or all homophones. And night before nurse is not a prefix, just a word that goes together with nurse. But night before mare creates indeed a new word.

In the musical notes, it should be "sol" instead of "so" and "re" instead of "ray." Might could have worked if you related it to the Sound of Music song but then "Doe" would have to go with it since the line is "Doe, a deer, a female deer."
